Thank you for providing me with a very nice stay. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with elegant atmosphere and perfect and exceptionally nice location really close to all the main attractions as well as a tram station. Everyone who works in the venue is very attentive and knowledgeable. Good service, they provide a private parking and free Wi-Fi...

heritage hotel, well maintained interiors, charming atmosphere
Parking is quite limited, with only two on-site spots and costly street parking options!!! Some outdated bathroom fixtures need updating for convenience!!! The unique decor could also benefit from a more modern touch!!!

All superb. This really is a home from home which is what they say they set out to achieve. Excellent location. Superb breakfast. Even when we had to leave for an early flight at 5am, the hotel provided us with a superb 'breakfast to go'. Room was clean and spacious. We had an attic room so less street noise from the street. Perhaps only very slight niggle was the shower was a hand held shower and would have preferred a shower cubicle or at least a hook to hook up the shower head in order that we could stand uder it without having to hold it up ourselves. But would most certainly recommend to family and friends and have done so already. We are fairly fussy and not easily pleased but The Charles was one hotel that did meet our requirements. There's even a lounge area where you can make complimentary tea / coffee. Plus tea / coffee making facilities in the room. Plus a complimentary PC to use in the lounge if you do not have your own. Useful for checking in flights and checking emails etc. So all wonderful and well worth a visit. Prague itself is very interesting too. Perhaps better to find your own restaurants though rather than follow hotel staff reception. We always prefer to steer clear of the tourist traps.
All excellent with exception of shower - as explained.

i booked to stay at the Charles but due to pipe leakage my booking is tranferred to their sister hotel, Hotel Elite. Because i had a great stay there, i would like to leave a comment here. This weekend trip is for my bf's surprise birthday. i've arranged in advance with the charles and they transferred the request to the Hotel Elite as well. so we went to the hotel and they offered us free spa and a surprise birthday cake! my bf loved it and i am very pleased with their arrangement and great hospitality. the location of Hotel Elite is also fantastic as its not too touristy and walking distance to everywhere.we didnt have to take any trams or metro at all. the taxi offered by hotel to the airport is also affordable and good service.
I must agree with other travellers that the hotel room is abit small though i was upgraded to deluxe room. apart from that the wifi in my room 116 is not great, so i spent most of my time at the bar as the wifi signal is stronger there. though i booked for double room, i was offered twin beds combined together which is not a great problem.
